Public ad-hoc charging prices
Every hour we read the published ad-hoc tariffs (pay without a contract) of public chargers in Germany from the Open ChargePoint Database run by MobiData BW. It merges the AFIR price feeds that operators publish on Mobilithek. We keep only sources with an open licence, and we keep every collection, so the archive grows by itself. No open archive of earlier prices exists, so our series starts on 6 Nov 2026.

/data/charging-prices/latest.json: today's median, 10th and 90th percentile, overall and per source/data/charging-prices/daily.csv: one row per day and source/data/charging-prices/tariffs.csv: every current ad-hoc tariff with energy, time, parking and session prices/data/charging-prices/sources.json: sources and their licences
Prices are the base energy price of each ad-hoc tariff. Session and blocking fees are in tariffs.csv. Contract prices are usually lower.
When you reuse the data, credit the sources and licences listed in sources.json.
Car consumption figures
The EV charging cost tool starts each car with rough real-world consumption for four ways of driving: efficient, typical, motorway at 120 km/h, and winter. They are our estimates for comparison, not manufacturer figures. Change them to what your trip computer shows. The formula is open: kWh per 100 km × (1 + charging losses) × price per kWh. The code is in /ev-cost/calc.js.
Use Allo Cars from an AI
- Copy for AI. Every tool has a button that copies your inputs, the results and the link as plain text you can paste into any assistant.
- Links that carry the inputs. A tool's settings live in its address, for example
/ev-cost/?car=Volvo EX30&p=0.35. An assistant can build such a link to open the tool already filled in. - Machine-readable lists.
/tools.jsondescribes each tool and its parameters, and/llms.txtlists the pages and data files.
A connector that lets Claude run the tools directly is planned. Each page is also in German under /de/, with the same link parameters.
What we keep about you
Nothing. There is no account, no cookie and no tracking. Your inputs stay in the page and its link. Your browser only stores your light or dark choice and whether you closed the install hint. Details are in the privacy notice.
